30 Days of Gratitude 2023 - Nature
Renee Rampersadsingh | NOV 2, 2023

"Nature" is the prompt for day 2 of this year's #Gratitude30 challenge.
It takes me back to last weekend and our retreat at the Asa Wright Nature Centre & Lodge. This Centre covers 1,500 acres of protected rainforest and was established in 1967 with a mission to protect part of the Arima and Aripo valleys for wildlife conservation, education, and scientific research. It was a joy to be able to spend time in that space.
Being in nature offers us the opportunity to connect with self for we are as much a part of it as it is a part of us. We are interconnected.
We can observe the elements and how they move within and around us. Cleansing, clarifying, grounding, transforming.
Today is a rainy day in my space. I am giving thanks for rain to replenish our reservoirs, and the coolness that comes after we've had many hot days.
What aspects of nature are you grateful for today?
