30 Days of Gratitude 2023 - Rest
Renee Rampersadsingh | NOV 18, 2023

Day 18’s prompt for #Gratitude30 is “rest”, something that we all need, something that it seems many of us have issues with, something we must get enough of for continued vitality, for our sanity, for us to do all that we want to do.
Today I give myself a moment to rest from reflecting on these prompts and instead invite you to reflect on the following share by Octavia Raheem (author of Pause, Rest, Be: Stillness Practices for Courage in Times of Change).
“Rest requires capacity.
Capacity for stillness and quiet must be built through practice.
Rest must be practised.
There is no substitute for embodied practice.
So where do you start?
In the smallest of ways and with consistency.
In the smallest of ways and with devotion.”
Make time each day for moments of rest.
