30 Days of Gratitude 2025 - Day 25

Day 25 of @positivelypresent's #Gratitude30 challenge invites us to reflect on the magic of the movies but I thought I'd switch it up a bit and share with you some anime that I've watched/been watching.
Anime refers to Japanese animation. I am thankful that it is something my partner and I both love and enjoy watching together.
I'm often impressed by the depth of storytelling, the amount of things one can learn, and the variety of art styles. Sharing here a few of our favourites:
🍬 Sugar Apple Fairy Tale - a candy crafter follows in her mother's footsteps to become a Silver Sugar Master
📖 Ascendance of a Bookworm: I'll Stop at Nothing to Become a Librarian - a book-loving student passes and awakens in the body of a young girl in a fantasy world where books are scarce. Using memories of her past life, she creates, prints and sells books in this new life
⚕️ Parallel World Pharmacy - a medical researcher passes due too overwork and is reborn in another world with a medieval culture. He decides to revolutionise their medical system and make treatments affordable to all
🪨 Ruri Rocks - an encounter between a high school girl and a graduate student studying mineralogy leads to much love and fascination with the world of minerals
🍲 Delicious in Dungeon - a group of adventurers in a fantasy world survive a dungeon by cooking and eating the monsters they find along the way
Let me know if you've seen any of them or feel free to recommend one for us ✨

*these posts are also being shared on my social media (Instagram and Facebook) as I have shared there over the past years.
