#Gratitude30 Day 27's prompt is: Your favourite food to eat

I have been a bit unwell this week and so for today's prompt for day 27, "Favourite food to eat", of @positivelypresent's #Gratitude30 challenge I'm sharing my favourite food to eat when unwell.

For as long as I've known myself watermelon has been my go-to when I'm under the weather. Cold, flu, strain, torn ligaments, or anything out of whack in my body is treated with watermelon.

And it works for me - I feel better, more nourished and taken care of.

It's important for us to become aware of what works for our own bodies. What is for some is not for others.

Thankful for watermelon and those who provide me with watermelon when I'm unwell.
