Just about three weeks after my birthday my family celebrates another, my brother's.

Sometime in my teens I learnt about the idea of soul groups - souls that plan to be born in the same time and space to work towards a specific purpose. When I look at my family and my relationship with my brother, I find it easy to believe that idea. I observe how our time together has shaped us, how we support and celebrate each other and I know that beyond my individual purpose for being, there is a shared purpose.

Today I am celebrating him, remembering what he was like when younger, observing how he has grown and wishing/praying for his continued happiness, good health and success.

After this weekend their will be regular weekly postings in this space. Until then, I invite you to reflect on the people in your space, on how you help them grow and vice versa.
