Once upon a time, I asked this question on my social media, “If I were to do a TEDtalk, what do you think it would be about?” There were many responses, all along the same lines. My talk would be about, “integrating the practices of yoga to create a life well-lived”. This has stuck with me and been the foundation of many of my workshops and retreats.

I have also been reflecting on how strongly I feel about empowering and supporting women. I am thankful to have had, and to still have, women of all ages caring for me in varying ways throughout my lifetime. As a yoga instructor I have worked with many women’s groups and prior to this, in my time in the public sector and as a student, I worked with and studied women in leadership.

This offering of the Sacred Canvas Sisterhood allows an opportunity for deeper connection than my classes, workshops and retreats. It will be a space of empowerment and support, where we can:

• share about the unique challenges faced by women in the workplace and society
• explore and freely express our creativity
• be inspired and guided to cultivate the life we want to lead
