30 Days of Gratitude 2025 - Day 16

"Gathering — the conscious bringing together of people for a reason — shapes the way we think, feel, and make sense of our world", Priya Parker in the introduction to her book, The Art of Gathering.
This is the book I took with me to The Quiet Chapter's November meetup. A book I reread when thinking about new projects and gatherings.
I thought it appropriate for day 16's prompt of @positivelypresent's #Gratitude30 challenge because it helps me prepare for gathering persons in community, and gives me the space to explore why and how best I can bring the ideas in my head into being.
As a yoga instructor, and a facilitator of workshops and retreats, it builds on the training and experiences I already have and allows me to create better experiences for those around me.
It's a book I recommend for everyone who is a teacher, an instructor, a facilitator, a family member who organises events, a friend who pulls the friend group together, and anyone who may just have an interest in gathering.
Share with me a book that has made you think 📖 and why it's the one you're sharing 😊

*these posts are also being shared on my social media (Instagram and Facebook) as I have shared there over the past years.
